| Prague 5, located on the left bank of the river, is extremely large and some areas are quite rural. Panelaks have been built near the metro stations (line B) and still presently offer cheap accommodation with good connections to the center. Radlice in the south and Košiře on the hill in the north of Prague 5 are pleasant residential areas with family houses and town houses only 20 minutes away from the center by tram and 10 minutes by car. There are several shopping centers in Prague 5. During the last 10 years, Smichov, by the river, and around the metro station of "Andel" has become a modern business and shopping area. The French school is in Prague 5. Prague 5 is also well connected to the airport and to the motorway to Plzen. |
